I came across this really cool flash based tool. It’s worth playing around to find out the download and upload speed your Internet bandwidth speed. You can also take a plugin and install on your website for free. The fancy flash based interface is fun and exciting. Go to http://www.speedtest.net

   dear farhan sahib,

   i am working at monitoring & inspection cell in home department, lahore. i am a system operator. i have to track the patrolling polcie vehicles through a software & internet. please reffer me how i can cehck internet speed. kindly tell me about the software downloading which i can test the internet accurate speed time by time. the software should be installed on system and will tell about the internet speed second by second.

   it’s fun and easy to check your Internet speed if you are using a broadband connection, using this website http://www.speedtest.net/

   All you have to do is go and specify your location. For example if you are in Lahore, click Lahore, and the site meter will give your download and upload speed in a few moments. Hope this helps.
